Misty Johnson: Missing from Greenville Found

Misty’s body was found at the end of Whispering Hollow Road, according to Greenville County Coroner Parks Evans. Evans said dental records played a key role in identifying Johnson. Authorities brought in a forensic anthropologist to help with the identification.

In early November, Samuel Hawkins was arrested and charged in the death of Misty Johnson, missing since September.

On September 12th, Hawkins was knocking on neighbors doors looking for a ride . He said that he and Misty had an argument. Her vehicle was found two days later in front of Hawkins’ home. According to police, he was a suspect from the beginning of the investigation.
