Sisters, Madison and McKala Peters missing from Florida Found

UPDATE 9/19/13 – Edward Peters of Inverness was taken into custody in Sweetwater, Montana on Thursday morning.

 
The two girls, Madison, 11, and McKala, 6, were also recovered, and reportedly doing well.

Previous story:  Madison Peters, 11,  and McKala Peters, 6, are missing from their home near South Hummingbird Avenue in Inverness Florida where they lives with their court-ordered guardian, and they may be with their father, Edward Peters and heading to Minnesota. 

Peters’ vehicle was found in Sanilac County, Michigan late Saturday night.  And information was released they may be traveling in a black 2000 Buick Bravada, with Michigan plates CNH7211.  The vehicle was reported stolen.

There is a warrant out for Peters arrest. Peters was on pre-trial release and removed his GPS ankle monitor issued to him in August, according to the ABC affiliate WFTS in Tampa, Fla.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call 911.
