Missing Frisco Men: There are more young missing men from San Francisco than just 5

The 5 missing San Francisco men need to be changed to the missing 16  (two men have been found deceased and recovered from the water).  Just last week another young man came up missing in San Francisco, in addition to Paulo Netto at the end of October.

Many of you have heard of several missing men, Dickerson, Hughes, Sidi, Rasmussen, and then either Remmer or Miller, but not many of you know that there are 12 other men around that same age group that are missing.  Last week I researched the area where 5 were last seen and they all disappeared from the same area.  Read story here.

So, I began wondering if there is a serial killer in San Francisco that is stalking all these young men, so I decided to do some research.  I compiled the list and narrowed it down to men missing from 2010 to 2013 and I kept the age no older than 30.    The list is below.  Please let me know if you know of anyone else that would fit into this list, and I will add them.  Please note, that I am not saying that all these men were victims of a serial killer, nor that they all have passed.  I am just pointing out that there is a larger group of young missing men from the San Francisco area than the 5 that the family has been alerting us to, and far more than I think the general public of San Francisco even knows about.

What I found interesting was that the San Francisco Police Department states: “The San Francisco Police Department will investigate all persons reported missing until the person is found or determined to be a voluntarily missing adult.”

If you look at the list below you will see that most of them are classified as voluntarily missing.  This means that the police have stopped looking for them.  This also means that someone has made a judgement whether someone is searched for or not.   If you look at the San Francisco’s Sheriff’s Department website they list 6 people missing.  Six?  There are actually 177 missing adults in San Francisco in all at this writing, which includes before the time of 2010 that I chose to begin my search.  It is a shame that the cities own police department can’t list them all on their website.

This is not unusual as I found the same situation in Texas, when I began my research in the large number of missing people from Liberty and Montgomery County Texas.  The information was all over the place and it took a lot of research to find what I believe now is a complete list in those two counties.

Anyway back to the missing in San Francisco:

You might be interested in the Missing Texas Story, that I spoke about above, where more that 40 men and women have gone missing from Montgomery and Liberty county’s in Texas.

I did find some interesting information about Alaska that is nicknamed the Land of the Lost, as far as comparing missing people stats.  Alaska in 2005 had 650,000 people in the whole state, which is less than the city of San Francisco, but comparable to the combined population of Montgomery and Liberty counties in Texas.   According to the LA Times, “Alaska has the highest percentage of people who stay missing” with a compiled list of 1,100 people who “remain” lost.  And that I believe is what is interesting about San Francisco and those two county’s in Texas.  These people have stayed missing.
