Keith Stompro: Arizona man missing in Alaska

Keith Stompro, 66, from Phoenix, Arizona has been missing since Dec. 14.  He was last seen at the Pike’s Waterfront Lodge in Fairbanks, Alaska on Dec. 10.

Keith was suppose to check out on Dec. 14 but his belongings were in the room.  The maid was not clear whether he had checked out or not.  The hotel waited till Dec. 20. to contact the police.

Keith was traveling alone and from what the police have been able to piece together they believe Keith came to Alaska at the beginning of November.  he rented a car in Anchorage and drove to Fairbanks.  He crashed into a herd of caribou on the Parks Highway around December 10 and ended up checking into Pike’s Lodge. 

Stompro’s family members were contacted and they did not know he was in Alaska. 

Stompro is 5’9″ tall and 165 pounds with hazel eyes and graying brown hair.  He is a former U.S. Army officer and calls himself an entrepreneur and adventurer and runs his own mortgage banking business.
