UPDATE 1/9/13 – Caleb Jacoby has been found in Times Square in New York and is safe, the Brookline Police announced via Twitter on Thursday night.
“Caleb Jacoby has been found. Safe and well.” The police said more information will follow as details become available.
The search continues on Wednesday for the son of a newspaper columnist who went missing from the Boston area.
Caleb Jacoby, who lives in Brookline, Mass. is an 11th grader at Maimonides School and he has been missing since Monday afternoon.

Jacob is known to frequent public libraries and Young Israel of Brookline on Green Street. He was last seen wearing navy chino pants, a navy polo shirt and a brown jacket with a hood and brown shoes.
