Nicholle Yarnell: Missing from Modesto Found

3/3/14 – CBS Sacramento stated:  A body that was discovered on Friday was identified as Nicholle Yarnell, based on appearance and clothing. Foul play is not suspected.

A body found in the 3400 block of Paradise Rd is believed to be that of missing person Nicholle Yarnell judging by the clothing and description.  The body was found in a dairy catch pond on Feb. 28th.    The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Dept. is investigation the cause of death. 

Detectives state they have located no signs of foul play at this time. Positive identification is pending an autopsy and DNA testing.

Previous story:   Nicholle Yarnell, 46, from Modesto, Calif. has been missing since Jan. 10.  She went to the store to pick up some items for her husband and she did not return.  Her truck was found a few blocks from the store parked in front of someone’s driveway. The key was in the ignition and her purse was inside.  The items she had purchased, cough syrup, 7-Up and a gumboil machine were in the cab. 

The family says there is a history of mental illness and Nicholle was in the hospital a few days before she went missing, but she has never gone a long time without contacting the family.
