Nathaniel Tallman: Missing from Layfayette after traveling to Longmont Found

The body of missing Nathaniel has been found in Lusk, Wyoming.
Two people have been arrested in the case.

"After an incredibly thorough investigation two arrests have been made in the case.  The two arrested parties are identified as Russell Britton, 58, who is being held at the Boulder County Jail with no bond, and charged with first-degree murder," a police statement said.  "Also under arrest is Moises Cazares Mendez, 26, who is being held at the Las Colinas Detention Facility in San Diego, California for first-degree murder with a $1 million bond."

UPDATE:  2/15/13 - Tallman's car was found in Colorado on Thursday.

UPDATE:  2/2/14 - Family and friends are offering a $10,000 reward for anyone with information about Tallman's whereabouts.

Previous Story: Nathaniel Tallman, 25, from Layfayette, Colorado has been missing since Jan. 21.  He was last seen in his black 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer Rally near the intersection of Empire Road and U.S. 287.  He was on his way to Longmont.

There has been a search for him, but nothing has been found.

Tallman has brown hair and hazel eyes, 5'10" tall, and was wearing black sweat pants with  a white stripe down the side and a white North Face jacket.

In this below picture you can seen that it is a straight drive from Layfayette to Longmont, and it takes about 10 minutes to get there.

Is it possible that he was having fun in his new car and maybe went too fast and ended up off the road.  It is lightly snowing in the area, with about 3-6 inches of snow.

Anyone with information about Tallman is urged to contact Lafayette police at 303-665-5571 or through Boulder County emergency dispatch at 303-441-4444. Information may also be provided to his friend Zalyn Lee by emailing TheDGAFLifer@gmail.com.

  1. Ninety minutes from Lafayette to Longmont? It is ten miles, on a straight highway. I think someone said NINE minutes and you misunderstood. It takes me twenty minutes, because there are a few stoplights. In a car like his it would take ten minutes if you hit the lights just right.
