Tera Schubert: Missing from Tarkington Found

UPDATE 4/9/14 – After a mass search, Tera was found during the evening at a friend’s house.  

Previous story:  From Liberty County (Missing Texas Forty area) an Amber Alert has been issued for  Tera Jo Schubert, 16 from Tarkington, Texas.  Tarkington is near Cleveland.  Tera was last seen Tuesday around 5 p.m. when she went for a jog off of County Road 2257.

 Cpt. Ken Defoor with Liberty County Police says Tera told her family she was going jogging like she did every day.

 
I am so worried for her, because for all those that have kept up with the Missing Texas Forty article, click here to read, many, many people have gone missing from that area and they were all walking.  

Tera was wearing a bright yellow tank top, black shorts and pink running shoes. She is 5′ 4″, 140 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 936-336-4500 ext. 0.

    UPDATE: A Tarkington teen who was the subject of an Amber Alert and a massive search reportedly was located overnight at a friend's house.

    ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Search crews are out in north Liberty County looking for any signs of a 16-year-old girl who went missing Tuesday night near her home on the 100 block of CR 2257 in the Davis Hill area.

    The teen, Tera Jo Schubert, was last heard from around 5 p.m. when she left home to go jogging. She was last seen wearing a yellow tank top, black shorts and pink running shoes. She is described as 5’ 4” tall and weighing 140 lbs.
