Christopher Dombroski: Soldier goes missing after going for a hike in Washington Found

UPDATE:  4/15/14 – Sadly, Christopher’s body has been found in the Capitol Forest on Tuesday.  He died of a gunshot wound and there was no foul play suspected. Christopher was the nephew of Steve and Theresa Harris who were victims of the Oso landslide.  He went to the location to look for them, but at this writing their bodies still have not been found.  No one knows if there is a connection between the two events.


Previous story:  Christopher Dombroski, 20, a soldier from Joint Base Lewis-McChord went missing on April 13, 2014.

The sheriff’s office says  Christopher Dombroski reportedly was on a weekend hiking trip in the Capitol Forest near Olympia, Wash. He was last heard from Sunday night.

Sheriff’s deputies have information that Dombroski rode his motorcycle to the forest and parked it for a hike, reports The Olympian.
