Amber Alert: 2-year-old missing from Mississippi Found

UPDATE:  4/25/14 -The Amber Alert has been cancelled. The Worth County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed Maliah Harris was found safe in Sylvester, GA.

According to NY Daily News the  parents were arrested on a felony drug warrant related to the drugs found in their house. They could face additional charges for meth found in their car.

Authorities are waiting for conclusion of the cause of death of Alyssa.

An Amber Alert has been issued out of Mississippi for a two-year-old girl that is missing, reports wapt news.

Maliah Harris may be traveling with her parents, Allison Studdard, 31 and Donald Harris, 34, who the authorities are seeking to talk to after Alyssa, their youngest daughter, and Maliah sister,  was found dead.

Alyssa, who is only 7-months-old was found by her grandfather around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning in their home in Caledonia.  When the grandfather went to call 911, the parents left and took Maliah with them.

The cause of death is unknown and an autopsy is being conducted.

Harris is described as a white man, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 201 pounds. He has blue eyes and dark hair, MHP said. Studdard is a white woman and is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 107 pounds. She has blue eyes and brown hair.

Donald Boyd Harris, 32, 19675 Highway 41, Lenox, was charged Saturday with a probation violation, loitering or prowling and giving a false name, address or birth date to a law enforcement officer.

Both were residence from Lenox, Georgia and the TIFT CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE show they were arrested in 2012.

Donald Boyd Harris, 32, 19675 Highway 41, Lenox, was charged Saturday with a probation violation, loitering or prowling and giving a false name, address or birth date to a law enforcement officer.

Allison Kaye Studdard, 29, 19671 Highway 41, Lenox, was charged Saturday with loitering or prowling.
