UPDATE 5/29/15: Ben was recently found at Doraville MARTA station, the police reported.
He told the police he was humiliated over not graduating and went missing instead of telling his family.

Ben Jones, 22-year-old from Rosewell, Georgia has been missing since May 16, 2014.  Ben attends Morehouse College.  His family thought he was to graduate this year, but they found out that he was not and are thinking that is the reason he may have went missing, but not why he would be gone for so long.

“For him to stay away for four days over the disappointment of that would be very much unlike him,” Richard Jones told Channel 2.

Richard Jones, Ben’s father went to Morehouse to look for his son. He found out that his son wasn’t scheduled to graduate.

“It is strange that there hasn’t been any activity on his cell phone,” Holland told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Right now we are treating this as a missing person case.”
Police told Channel 2 Jones’ cell phone may have been at a Buckhead hotel Saturday, but he was not there when they arrived.
