The UK Express is stating that a pit has been found in a area near where Madeleine McCann went missing in May 2007.

British and Portugal police brought in two dogs, Muzzy and Tito, the same Springer Spaniel dogs used to search for April

Jones from Wales who went missing in 2012.  The dogs lead them to an area where the brush was overgrown.  There they found a pit that they are calling a storage space or children’s play den.

The pit has a 5 feet by 3 feet opening that was covered by corrugated iron sheets and wooden planks.  They also found a sewer system that was no longer being used and they brought in cameras and put them on long poles to drop them down and look around.

The scraps of clothing will be testing.  At this time they do not know if the clothing belonged to Madeline.  Bones that were found were found to be cow and pigs.

This is the same area where a witness said they saw a man carrying a girl the night Madeleine went missing.
