UPDATE 9/27/14 – Although DNA results have not come back for confirmation authorities state that a ring round at the scene of a unidentified body, points to the body belonging to Brianna. The ring was her father’s class ring that she wore on her finger. The remains were found on Sept. 1 at the Jay County Conservation Club. Previous story;
“Brianna DiBattiste has been MISSING from Dunkirk, Indiana for a month now. Her story has gotten some media coverage locally, but not enough. The family has asked for help in spreading the word.”
DiBattiste was last seen in Dunkirk at 8 p.m. June 16.
Brianna DiBattiste left her home in Dunkirk, Indiana on the evening of Monday, June 16, 2014. She told her dad she was leaving with a friend and would see him later. Brianna never returned home and no one has seen or heard from her since. She took no personal belongings with her. Not even her makeup or a change of clothes. All activity on her cell phone ceased the evening of June 16.
