UPDATE:  11/27/14 – Elaine was found safe.  Authorities state her clothing was wet and had been outside in the elements since the morning she went missing. No further information was given, but I am assuming that she may have gotten lost.

Previous story:  Elaine M. Surowick, 64, of Ithaca, NY went missing Nov. 26, 2014 with her dog.  Elaine went to a friends house in Manlius on Tuesday.  Then around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday morning the owners of the home heard someone leave the house and they have not seen Elaine since.

She was seen walking west on Route 173 with her tan-colored Australian cattle dog on a leash.  She has not contacted anyone since Tuesday evening.

Elaine is 5’4″ tall and 100 pounds.  She was wearing long pants, multiple layers of shirts but no jacket or hat.  She may or may not have her glasses on and she has shoulder-length gray hair.

If you see her please call the Manlius police at 315-682-2212.
