The family of Omar Meza

Omar Meza, husband to Diana Meza and Vice President of AIG Insurance. At 33 years old he attended a business meeting at the J.W. Marriott in Palm Desert, arriving at the night of January 08, 2015. The following morning when Omar did not show up for the various meetings, that were scheduled, colleagues reported him absent.

A search was organized and commenced, throughout the local area and the media, in search for the absent Omar Meza. On Wednesday January 14, 2015 at 11:00am, individuals were, asked to meet at the Ralphs parking lot across the street from the J.W. Marriott. Many people showed up to help in the search, and distribute flyers seeking the whereabouts of Omar Meza. Search efforts were, organized canvassing the local area and the golf course, while the Sheriff’s office arranged divers and supported search organization. During the search, his coat was, found neatly folded on a bench, along with his wallet. On January 15, 2015 around 3:00pm, a body was, discovered in a pond, near the 18th hole of the golf course.

The family of Omar Meza did confirm that the body found in the pond is that of Omar Meza, later that evening. The Sheriffs corner is investigation into the cause of death, and verify the identity.

Diver’s Report
A team of golfers spotted Omars body in the pond near the 18th hole after finishing their round at Approximately 2:00pm. The Golfer the called police concerning the body in the pond.
The dive team focused their search on the bloodhounds findings, near the area were Omar’s Coat and wallet were found.
