Rivka and Chaya Kutsy: Sister’s missing from Brooklyn Found

UPDATE:  2/10/15  –  Rivka and Chaya were located with their parents in Sullivan County Monday afternoon.  They sisters were taken to ACS and the parents will appear before Family Court.

Original Story:  Police are searching for two Brooklyn girls that are missing after a custody battle, reports the Daily News.

Rivka Kutsy, 4, and Yosefa “Chaya” Kutsy, 3, from Crown Heights were last seen on Jan. 31 at their home.

The Administration of Children’s Services visited the family and they went missing shortly afterwards and are believed to be with their parents.  Allen was reaffirmed temporary custody of the two girls but was not to leave the area, and subsequently because they can not be found a warrant was issued by the Kings County Family Court.

Allen Kutsy was charged with exposing himself in Bayonne last month.   He was found in a car with marijuana and a pipe.  He was due to appear in court on Feb 26.

An anonymous individual spoke with the judge during a hearing regarding the arrest to request the sisters be taken away from the Allen and his wife, Chana but the judge ruled there was not enough evidence.

Kutsy is also wanted for outstanding warrants out of Middletown and Nutley.

They may be traveling in a red 2001 Toyota 4Runner with New Jersey plate A68EMS.
