UPDATE 3/26/15 – Victoria was found near a construction sight and was returned home and is safe. 

Original story:  Victoria Arizmendi, 81, is missing from San Marcos (San Diego County).  She was last seen at 7 a.m. on Thursday, March 26 at her home in the 500 block of Rush Drive.

She walked away from home telling her daughter she wanted to go climb a mountain.  There are the Discovery Hills by her home.

She was last seen wearing glasses, a large brown jacket, grey or blue pants and a black purse and she is 5 feet tall and 130 pounds.  She has dementia and health issues.

SAR volunteers will be searching for her.
