UPDATE 4/13/15 – On Sunday, hikers noticed there was something different about a railing at Craycroft and Sunrise and looked closer at it and saw a body laying below. The body is probably Ann’s, as house keys to her home were found on the body. The medical examiner will make a positive ID.
UPDATE 4/6/15 – Deputy Chief Chris Nanos said things were found inside Ann’s home that indicated that she has been going through some personal problems that may have led to depression. They also found a note that they said could be considered a suicide note.
Original story: Ann Pardo, 62, was last seen on March 31 around 9:30 a.m. in the 4500 block of North Paseo Bocoanocos, near Craycroft and River Roads in Tucson, AZ.
“Her husband didn’t see her leave. He’d gone to an appointment,” Sheriff’s Department spokesman Dep. Tracy Suitt told the Arizona Daily Star. “But he says it’s possible that she might have gone for a walk.”
Pardo left her home without her keys or her cell phone.
Ann is the director of Life Management at the Canyon Ranch resort. On their website it states: “Canyon Ranch is the world’s recognized leader in healthy living and luxury spa vacations, with destination spa resorts and SpaClub® day facilities on land and at sea.”
According to the Sheriff’s Department, Pardo is described as 5’2″, 179 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes. It is possible she was wearing some type of active wear.
Anyone with information about Pardo’s whereabouts is urged to call 911.
