UPDATE: 4/17/18 – Undersheriff John Gautney wrote in a news release Thursday that authorities did not suspect foul play in the death of Shauna and she accidentally died of hypothermia.

UPDATE:  4/16/15 – A Powell Butte rancher called the police when he found a deceased person in his field, off the Powell Butte Highway near Southwest Riggs Road, said Undersheriff John Gautney.  It has been tentatively identified as Shauna Fowler, with a positive ID and cause of death to come from the Medical Examiner.

Shauna Fowler, 27, missing from Powell Butte, Oregon on March 26, 2015.  Police discovered her cellphone and purse at her home. Her vehicle was parked outside and authorities discovered her dog had been left unattended since the previous evening.
