Angela Christianson: 5-year-old missing from boat launch in Gotham Found

UPDATE 5/30/15 – Richland County Chief Deputy Chad Kanable said the department received a 911 call at around 5:50 p.m. Thursday about a body in the Wisconsin River.  Kanable said deputies found a juvenile female near the Village of Port Andrew.

Original story:  A 5-year-old girl has gone missing from a boat launch in Wisconsin on Monday, April 6, 2015.  Angela Christianson Girtons and two other children left a babysitter’s house and walked to the Wisconsin River for a picnic.

The Richland County authorities searched the Wisconsin River in Gotham for Angela.  It has been raining while they searched making it dark and dangerous for the crews, but they have still persevered.

There has been reports that she fell into the water near the boat launch.  Her sibling and another child were unsuccessful when they linked arms and tried to reach her with a stick.
