According to Penn Live the police found a ransom note in BJ’s mailbox after they arrested him for tampering with evidence.  The note said that Kelly was alive but $60,000 was needed for her safe return.  B.J. Snyder said he didn’t know how the note got in the mailbox.  He told police that he did get an email on Friday telling him to go to a local restaurant or his wife would be killed, but has not showed the email to police.

Original story:  Kelly Jo Snyder, 34, from Pennsylvania has been missing since Easter.  She was last seen leaving her home on 243 Fourth Street and walking to the local Dollar General store to get potatoes for dinner.   Surveillance video at the store confirms she never entered or approached the store.  Later her wallet was found in front of Yesterday’s Hotel and Restaurant at 100 3rd Street in Renovowere.  She left her car keys and cell phone at home.

“She’s a wonderful person, a wonderful mother. She doesn’t do this. She wouldn’t just disappear. That just doesn’t happen,” Ashley O’Brien told WNEP news.

About 60 emergency responders have joined with Snyder’s family and friends searching for her this week.

Kelly is 5’3″ and weighs 130 pounds.  She has brown hair and brown eyes.  When she left her hone, she was wearing jeans, a dark grey long-sleeved Victoria’s Secret pullover that has the word “Pink” printed on the front, and black boots.  She is married and has 3 children.
