Michael Bolden, 5, from Plant City, Florida is missing Found

UPDATE:  5/31/15 –  Michael’s body was found in a pond near the market, and they are ruling the death accidental.

“Right now we’re in recovery mode of this operation, and we’ll be conducting an investigation as to how the child got in the water, but it appears it was probably an accident, and the child was not being properly supervised,” Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee said.

Michael Bolden, 5, from Plant City, Fla. went missing at the Plant City Farm and Flea Market at Highway 39 and Sam Allen Road around 9 a.m. on Sunday.

Michael was with a caregiver when he went missing.  Deputies have been in contact with the child’s mother, who reported that Bolden is severely autistic and can only communicate in baby talk.

“The caregiver is distraught and confused and so far the facts and circumstances are inconsistent,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release, reported Tampa Bay.

A nearby pond is being searched by the HCSO dive team as a matter of precaution.
More information will be available as HCSO updates us with the situation.
