Missing mom and son from Colorado located; mom and boyfriend arrested

UPDATE 9/17/15 –
Police issued a statement that said they had located Knapp as she crossed the border back into El Paso, Texas on Wednesday.    Her son was found at a motel in Juarez with Robb.  Knapp was  arrested on a warrant for a child dependency case and Robb was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant for sexual exploitation of a child.

Casey is now in the custody of welfare services in El Paso, Brighton.

A mother and her son are missing from Colorado since Sept. 1.

Paula Knapp, 36, and Casey Knapp, 11, live near Bridge Street and S. 20th Avenue in Brighton and they have not been heard from or seen.

Paula is developmentally disabled and the police want to check to make sure they are both alright since it is unusual for them to not have contact with anyone.  

The Brighton Police Department stated that they may be with Paula’s boyfriend, Daryl Manuel Robb. Robb.

They may be traveling in a white 2007 Nissan Altima with CO plates 633-QJX.
