Man’s skull found belongs to man missing since 2010 from Texas

A man’s skull that was found in January has been identified as a man missing since April 24, 2010.

Roland Morris Jr., 57, of Fort Worth was heading to the Bryan County area of Oklahoma, but his whereabouts could not be established and he was reported missing in 2010.

In April of 2015, Morris’ family submitted DNA samples and that resulted in a match to the skull found off Coyote Trail in Durant.  Authorities found other remains after a search in the area.

The case is being called “suspicious fouled play” because Morris suffered head trauma caused by “high velocity injury.”
