Speranza Lopez, 14, ran away with boyfriend from Nebraska FOUND

UPDATE 11/15/15 – Rosalinda Lopez has announced at 2:45 on Sunday, Nov. 15 that Speranza is home. 

“Thank you for your help! Today we have her home!!!!”

Speranza Lopez, 14, has been missing since August 22, 2015.  The family believes she ran away from her Mitchell home in Nebraska with her 14-year-old boyfriend.  

 “My daughter had called me saying Speranza wasn`t in her room and she took her green and purple back pack with her and she had slippers on when she had left,” said Cynthia Garcia, her grandmother.

Mitchell Police Chief, Mike Cotant stated they have been receiving tips: 

“We’ve had reports that she`s in Salt Lake City, we`ve had reports that she`s in Colorado Springs, we`ve had reports that she`s in Steamboat Springs,  we`ve had reports that she`s in Omaha Nebraska, and I`ve pulled all my resources,” said Mitchell Police Chief, Mike Cotant.


The girl’s mother did tell the Star-Herald that the girl had texted, telling family that she was OK at one point.

Speranza girl is 125 pounds and 5’1″. She had black hair with highlights at the time of her disappearance
