Whitney Copley last seen with two young men who are now in jail FOUND

UPDATE  11/21/16 – Whitney’s family has told LEX 18 news they are confident human remains found in a wooded area behind the Dogwalk Market off Highway 127 in Dunnville belong to her.  Sarah, Whitney’s sister said that they received a tip which caused a search in that area.

Investigators recovered nearly an entire skeleton, as well as clothes consistent with what Whitney would have been wearing.

“We’re pretty sure you know, that it’s her but, we’re just waiting for the positive identification to come in for us,” said Sarah.

UPDATE:  1/7/15 – Whitney’s sister has posted this on social media:

“The family of Whitney Copley, has endured 66 physically, emotionally, and mentally challenging days! In this time of desperation and need, we don’t understand why any chance at finding our sister would be denied. Not just once, but multiple times?!? We have ask numerous times for KSP to make the 1 phone call that we so desperately need! This 1 phone call could take a load of pressure and stress off our family & it is absolutely free. We have spent 66 days wading creeks, climbing hillsides, crawling through caves, talking to people, and looking for answers! WE ARE EXHAUSTED! We NEED & deserve the help of Texas EquuSearch, a non-profit organization that has all the equipment and resources needed to ‪#‎bringWhitneyhome‬…EquuSearch has trained search teams and they have had many success stories! They have been willing to come for several weeks and are still awaiting the phone call…That phone call is way overdue! So, we are asking our friends, family, and co-workers to call the Columbia KSP @ 270 384-4796 & ask for Detective Kenny Brown or Lieutenant Grant…Please just say you are calling for the Whitney Copleycampaign and to please allow EquuSearch to come and search forWhitney! Thank you!( Call to KSP campaign for Whitney Copley)”

UPDATE:  12/1/15 – On Sunday the family found a bag and a pair of jeans belonging to Whitney in a barn in Casey County but have not yet found her.

Original Story:  Whitney Danielle Copley, 24, has been missing nearly since September 2015.  September 30th Whitney was seen at a residence on 1611 in Eli, Kentucky with 3 people.

“She left there and they headed back toward Casey County. We don’t know what they did at that point or what time that was actually, but what we do know is that around 4:30 the two boys that she was with showed up at Dog Walk Market, their car had broken down, had a flat tire, actually had ran off the road maybe and messed the wheel up and the two boys were seen on camera there but she was not with them so sometime during that night something happened,” Theresa Meyer, Whitney’s sister said.
The family believes two of those with Whitney the night of her disappearance were Josh Wilkey and Christopher Woodall, and they are both in the Russell County Jail.  Wilkey for a probation violation and Woodall for a bench warrant.

Copley is a white female, 24 years old, 5’7″, 110 pounds and has brown hair with hazel eyes. She has a scar on the left side of her abdomen, tattoos of 3 stars and infinity logo on her wrists, tattoos of bows on her legs and a tattoo of a dragon fly on her lower back.
