Misty Marshall and her three children are missing from Louisiana – Mother and son found murdered

UPDATE:  12/19/15 –
Vernon Parish Sheriff’s deputies have found the  bodies of Misty and her son, Day-Min, 9.  Police have arrested the woman’s boyfriend, Matthew Dotson of New Llano, who is the father of one of woman’s other children, in connection with the deaths. He has been booked with one count of first-degree murder, but more charges may follow. 

Misty’s body was located in a wooded area near New Llano, and Day-Min’s body was found near the home where he had been living.   The police arrested Matthew who has been a person of interest after finding the bodies. 

UPDATE:  12/8/15 – Vernon Parish Sheriff Sam Craft said two missing children have been located, but their mother and another child remain unaccounted for.

Original Story:  “The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office (in Louisiana) is seeking information regarding the whereabouts of Misty Marshall and her three children, Zinlee Dotson (Female – age 2), Day-min ( Male – age 9), and Jasmine Moses (Female – age 14). Family members of Marshall came to VPSO on December 4, 2015 to report that they have not been able to make contact or speak with Marshall since prior to Thanksgiving.  The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office is attempting to confirm the well being of Marshall and her children.  Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Marshall can contact VPSO at 337-238-7248 / 337-238-1311 or Crime Stoppers at 337-239-2233.
