Senior with Alzheimer’s goes missing in Oregon

John Getman left his home in Irrigon, Oregon around 2 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 and was last seen near the Wildlife Refuge west of Irrigon around 9:30 a.m. that same morning, stated the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office.  Getman is originally from New York, but just recently moved to Irrigon in February so his sister could take care of him, as he has Alzheimer’s and diabetes. He was last seen wearing a brown Carhartt jacket, brown plaid shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers.

Kelly Sullivan, Getman’s niece posted, “No leads or updates to give. My uncle John is still missing. He has not been seen or heard from since the day he walked away from his Irrigon home November 16, 2015. We continue to search for him daily.
We have not given up looking for you Uncle John, we will continue until we bring you home♡ We love and miss you more than you will ever know♡
