Craig Baxter missing from Nebraska FOUND

UPDATE:  1/10/15 – Lincoln police say the body of  Craig Baxter has been found inside his car, parked inside a garage at a Lincoln Apartment Complex.He was found in a car near 44th and O street. The cause of death has not been released, but LPD says foul play is not suspected.

Craig Baxter, 28, is missing from Nebraska.  He was last seen on Monday around 7 a.m.  He had an appointment for an optometry rotation in Omaha but he never showed up.  His family discovered he left his wallet with his sister in Lincoln.  Craig was driving a blue 2005 BMW  with license plate 15-B187.  His cell phone pinged by a tower near Nebraska Wesleyan University at 7:40 a.m. Monday, about 20 minutes after he left. But that could have happened as he drove north on 48th Street, his brother-in-law, Dave Meagher told the Journal Star.  .Craig is 6’1″ tall with dark hair and dark eyes and wears glasses.

“We have had leads that our investigator has been looking into but nothing has been solid or confirmed yet. I also wanted to thank all of our friends and family as well as all of the individuals that we don’t know. Your amazing outpouring of support and prayers has blown us away. Thank you all for your continued work in helping us to find Craig. Our investigator spoke with us earlier this morning and mentioned at this point, someone spotting the vehicle would be a huge step in finding him,” Dave Meagher.

He is described as 6 foot 1, with dark hair and dark eyes.
