Lora Costner missing from Newport, Tenn. FOUND

loracostner2UPDATE 3/14/16 – Authorities have confirmed that the body of a woman found last week in rural Cocke County was  Lora Costner.  Sheriff Fontes also said that a person of interest was in custody on unrelated charges, but not who it was.

Reports News 8:
“Neighbors in the Bogard community tell us Costner and a man that lived in this neighborhood, McKinley Cody, spent a lot of time together. Cody’s mother, former 9-1-1 Director Kathy Cody, who recently made headlines accused of smuggling drugs into the Cocke County jail, lives across the street from where the body was found.

 Neighbors also told us McKinley Cody spent time at the home where the remains were discovered.”

Original story:  Lora Hale Costner is missing from Newport, Tenn. since Jan 7, 2016.  Lora was last seen wearing a dark green zip up hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.  She is 42, 5’5″ tall, 145 pounds and has a small tattoo of a yellow sunflower on her right hip and she wears large silver earrings.
