Prison escapee at large with 3-year-old and mother FOUND

UPDATE Feb. 2016 -The U.S. Marshals Service tracked down Gary Bullock Jr., Natasha Quigley, and 3-year-old Xander Quigley in Flemingsburg, Ky. on Friday afternoon. All three were unharmed.

Original story:  Xander Quigley, 3, is missing and is believed to be with his mother, Natasha Quigley and her boyfriend Gary Bullock Jr., who she helped escape from the El Caribe Resort and Conference Center in Daytona Beach where he was working as part of the prison’s work camp program.  Bullock had been sentenced to prison in 2010 for robbery and grand theft. Although the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office will not release Xander’s name his grandmother Tammy Wimble told the Orlando Sentinel.

“This child is in danger, terrible danger,” said Tammy Wimble.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office explained they were not naming the missing child because the investigation results in filing abuse or neglect charges, Florida law states they must protect the child’s identity.  The case also does not qualify for an Amber Alert.

Wimble stated that there is no child custody paperwork filed with the courts yet and Quigley and the boy’s father who lives in Leesburg were in the middle of divorce proceedings.  The visitation was by verbal agreement between the parents, and the boy lived primarily with his mother stated the Orlando Sentinel.

Deputies are currently searching for Bullock when he failed to return to prison Friday while out on work release, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said.  Bullock was wearing an electronic tracking device that was taken off.

They may be traveling in a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt with Florida plates EUJL31.
