Wife disappears same day husband commits suicide

Marisela Hernandez, 38, went missing from her home in Pomona, Calif.  Marisela’s husband, Ivan Herandez was found dead in the garage of the home on Wed., Jan. 27, 2016, of what the authorities are calling a suicide.  Authorities believe that Marisela left about the time that Ivan committed suicide.  The children tried to reach her and she was not at her job at the Hampton Inn.  Feranando, 19, and his three siblings are searching for their mother and have asked publicly for her to come home.

“You really need to come home. I don’t know what else to say but to come home. … They need their mom,” Fernando said referring to his younger siblings.

Ivan stated that his dad was going through hard times with his mother.  They had marital problems and Marisela had a boyfriend living in Albany, according to the Pomona Police Dept. 

“He was a good dad,” said Ivan Zarate, 16. “He always looked out for us, but he was going through some hard times right now with my mom and he took the easy way out, I think.”

Marcus Perez. The boyfriend told the police that he had not seen Marisela.
