UPDATE 2/28/17 – Maci has been found alive!!!! “She was found alive and well,” said Lee Allmer, the spokesman. “At the moment, we cannot divulge the location (where she was found) as the investigation is ongoing.” Although other media is posting she was found on the Fort Peck Indian reservation. Maci was found by Undersheriff Corey Reum. Witnesses say she was taken by a young man in a park about 9:30 p.m. Friday to Fort Peck.
UPDATE: 2/27/16 – John Lieba has been apprehended. Maci is still missing.
An Amber Alert was issued early Saturday morning. Information is stating that Maci Lilley was taken from West End housing in Wolf Point, MT. The following is a press release from law enforcement:
“A 4 year old Native American female child was last seen playing in a park in Wolf Point Montana at approximately 9 p.m. on February 26, 2016 when friends saw a male take her and flee on foot.
Child is Maci Maelyn Lilley, 3 foot, 60 lbs, brown eyes, brown hair, last seen wearing pink coat, blue jeans, pink and white shoes, short hair with bangs, zig-zagged teeth.
Suspect is possibly John Lieba, aka as Billy Lieba. Lieba is 20 years old and is described as a thin Native male with short hair and possible minor wounds to his face from an earlier assault.
