Amber Alert for Georgia baby FOUND

willisjohnsonUPDATE 4/12/16 – The Doraville Amber alert was lifted on April 11 after the suspect, Willis Johnson surrendered to the Florida Department of Law enforcement.  Carter Johnson is back with his mother.

Original story:  An Amber Alert has been issued for 18-month-old Carter Willis Johnson, who is believed to be in extreme danger, the police alert said. He has been missing from Doraville since April 1, and is believed to be with Willis Johnson, 31. He was scheduled for a custodial drop-off at the Doraville Police Department, but the baby and his father never showed up. Attempts to find them have failed. On Thursday, the mother went before a Fulton County judge and the judge ordered an Amber Alert.

Johnson is described as African-American, with black hair and brown eyes. He is 3 feet tall and weighs 40 pounds.

A vehicle lookout was issued for a blue Kia Forte EX, Georgia license PWD1468.
