UPDATE:  4/14/16 – The Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Muskegon Township Police Department and City of Muskegon Police concluded Wednesday night that Vaughn has been found safe.  After his car was found they located him in another state. His car had been found parked at an assisted living complex on Monday, according to a news release from Mason County Sheriff Kim C. Cole. Surveillance cameras later captured Flewelling boarding a Greyhound bus at the Muskegon Greyhound bus terminal, according to the release. Law enforcement confirmed that he is healthy and traveling under his own free will.  The missing case will be closed and family notified.  Whether Vaughn decides to follow up by contacting his family it is up to him.  The police can notify his family he was found and is safe, but if Vaughn requested they do not divulge his location, they will not, which is probably the case as they have not released where he was found.

UPDATE 4/13/16 – The police has stated that the license plate for Vaughn’s Lincoln town car have been found on another car that was inoperable that he owns.  It looks as though someone took the plates off the Lincoln and put them on his other car and probably put those plates on the Lincoln.

Original story:  The owner of Hamlin Grocery in Hamlin Township, Michigan has been missing since Sunday, April 10, 2016. Vaughn Flewelling was last seen letting an employee out of the store located at 3611 N. Jebavy Drive at 10 p.m. He stayed inside and continued to work after letting the employee out. Vaughn has not been seen since. The store was scheduled to open up at 6 a.m. the next day.

Vaughn may be driving his tan/gray 2006 Lincoln Town car. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please contact the Mason County Sheriff’s office at 231-869-5858.
