4/28/16 – Jessica Leigh White, 21, from Troy, Michigan went out  late Friday night to visit a friend and has not been seen since.   Attempts to call her have gone unanswered.  She was last heard from via text messages she made to her cousin on Saturday morning.  She was visiting a friend in Hazel Park.

“This is very unlike my daughter,” Karen Black, her mother told Detroit News. “If she needed a ride home, she would have asked me. And there are inconsistencies in what some people have told police since then that bother me.”

Black does know that Jessica was picked up around 11 p.m. on Friday by a family friend.   Black said her daughter was going tell the friend she needed to be home on Saturday so she could babysit.  But, when she woke up that morning Jessica had not come home.

Also strange was that when the police went to the Hazel Park home they said they didn’t know Jessica.  Later the police stated the story changed, and they said they remembered her but she was drunk.

Jessica is 5’5″ tall, 180 pounds, with dark brown hair, partly dreadlocked. She has metal piercings on her left eyebrow, ears and tongue. She has tattoos including a faded peace symbol on her right thumb and the word “Loyalty” on her left arm. She was wearing a long-sleeved black “Nirvana” T-shirt with a smiley face, black yoga pants and gray Ugg boots.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts or disappearance is asked to call police at (248) 524-3477.
