Liliana Moreno: Florida mother and daughter missing

lilianamoreno2UPDATE 6/6/16 –  Caetano lost his eye during his arrest on Thursday when an officer shot a taser at him and the prongs ended up in his eye.  The doctors at Kendall Regional Medical Center said the prongs were embedded in his eye and they could not get the prongs out without removing his eye.  Meanwhile, troopers searched for possible bodies, between 177th Avenue and Southwest Eighth Street on Monday, after someone saw buzzards flying above and drag marks in the dirt.

UPDATE 6/5/16 – Gustavo Caetano the father of Daniela was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center with self-inflicted wounds caused by a knife the said Miami-Dade police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta. Police had heard that Castano was threatening to harm himself, and they located him in his truck near Northwest 138th Street and Okeechobee Road.  Caetano stabbed himself before the police were able to get the knife away from him.

Original story:  An air, ground and water search is being done for a missing Florida woman and her daughter.  Moreno’s sister, who lives in Colombia, contacted the police Tuesday after she hadn’t heard from Liliana Moreno, 43, and her daughter Daniela, 9, who leave at 107th Avenue and NW 50th Street in Doral.  They were not home, but her car was there.  The police did a welfare check and entered the apartment and found her purse and wallet but her keys missing.   Moreno’s cell phone is not responding to calls and Daniela has not been in school since Friday.
