The authorities have released that the remains of Elizabeth have likely been found. Karla Vanatta spoke with Elizabeth’s mom.  She was very emotional and stated she needed time to process the information. She had hoped her daughter was still alive.

Original story: Elizabeth Hornbeck, 26, was last seen at Veterans Memorial Park located in Mountainview, Mo. on September 2015.

Elizabeth did not show up for work at Conley’s Quick Stop in Pomona.  Jacob Loo, Elizabeth’s boyfriend filed a missing persons report on the 26th.

“She parked it [car] there, then walked to my house. Came down into the park somewhere here and that’s when she had the confrontation with the two guys,” Lisa Hornbeck told KSPR news.

The Howell county Sheriff’s Dept. stated Elizabeth did go to work at McDonald’s in Willow Springs at 7 a.m. on the 24th and got off work at 2:12 p.m. Caldwell said she later drove to Town and Country Supermarket on Fifth Street in Mtn. View.  She then parked her car and  walked to her mother’s home on Third Street.

A witness reported having seen two men arguing with a girl fitting Hornbeck’s description at Veteran’s Park on Fifth Street in Mtn. View at around 9 p.m., Sept. 24, 2015, reports West Plains Daily Quill.

A candlelight memorial will be at the Veterans Memorial Park on Sept. 24, 2016.
