Michigan teen missing since December found in New Mexico

Rae Showna Jones, 17, went missing from Saginaw, Michigan in December 2015, and today police are reported she has been found in New Mexico.

Rae was found wandering alone near a busy intersection on Unser Blvd. and Southern Blvd. in Rio Rancho, near a Walmart and stopped to talk with her. That is when they found she was a missing person.

Police stated Rae refused to talk to them about how she ended up in New Mexico, reports KOAT news. Rae’s mom thinks that she could be a victim of human sex trafficking.

Her mom has asked the police department to hold on to her until the family is able to come get her.

Michigan Live ran a story about Rae and her mother back in May.
