Amber Alert for 10-year-old Kayla Gomez; may have been abducted from church in Texas FOUND

UPDATE 11/7/16 – Gustavo Zavala, 24, of Bullard was arrested for assault causing bodily injury twice in 2014 and is believed to be responsible for Kayla’s murder.  On Saturday night, a law enforcement told KETK the person responsible for Kayla’s death is an uncle. A family member says the man is a cousin who “acted like an uncle to Kayla.”

UPDATE 11/5/16 – A body has been found in a well at a house on the 22000 block of Old Jacksonville Highway in Bullard.  Authorities believe it is the body of Kayla.  The location is a few miles from where Kayla was last seen.  There is rumors that a cousin or uncle is responsible for Kayla’s murder.

UPDATE 11/5/16 – There is a $60,000 reward for information leading to the whereabouts of Kayla Gomez.

Kayla Gomez  was last seen on November 1, 2016, at the Bullard First Assembly of God church in Bullard, Texas on US Highway 69.  The day was usual with Kayla going to class at Jack Elementary in Tyler. After school, she went to Gresham Heights Day Care, then picked up by her mom.  After dinner they went to the Bullard First Assembly around 7 p.m. for a prayer service, reported KLTV news. Around 7:45 p.m., when the prayer service was finished, Kayla went to sit in the lobby, according to WDAM news.   Family members say they thought she had gone to play or to the restroom or somewhere else, but she was nowhere to be found.

As of an hour ago a team began searching on foot an area behind the church.

Also, ‘Angel Reyes, owner of Taco El Conquistador restaurant, said Thursday that someone lifted the front door so the alarms wouldn’t go off. The person stole about $150 in change.
The burglary occurred near the First Assembly Church in Bullard, on U.S. Highway 69, where 10-year-old Kayla Gomez-Orozco went missing Tuesday night during a prayer service. Officials have not said the two incidents are connected,” reported KLTV News.

Early on the public was asked to look for a red Cadillac SUV she may be traveling in but now it has been announce that the Cadillac is no longer of interest.

A $13,000 reward is being offered for help in her recovery.

An Amber alert was issued on Wednesday for Kayla. Kayla is described as a Hispanic female with black hair and brown eyes, 4 feet tall and weighing 90 pounds. She was wearing a black “Racquet  Jog” shirt with a peach colored skirt.
