Pennsylvania Amber Alert for Alexis Weber

Alexis Weber

Pennsylvania Amber Alert CANCELLED

The vehicle that was believed to have been stolen was located in a wooded area behind the family’s house. Evidently, it was not actually stolen.  Alexis’s mother did not put the vehicle in park when she got out of the car and began unloading groceries into the house, with Alexis still in the car.  As a result the vehicle moved forward with the child still inside.

The vehicle traveled over a small parking curb and down a decline into a wooded field.   Police believe that the car was never stolen, but slipped out of gear while parked in the driveway and then careened out of control down an embankment that eventually leads to the Susquehanna River, reports the Citizen’s Post.
