9-year-old Kaitlyn Stofiel missing from Portland

UPDATE 3/9/17 – Kaitlyn and Thomas were found on Highway 26 west of Warm Springs on March 8, a mile away from where they left the truck.  They were hitchhiking and cold and wet.  Thomas told police they had been camping for the last two weeks.

Original story:  Kaitlyn Stofiel went missing in February with the father, but police believe she may be endangered.  Kaitlyn, 11,  and Thomas  Clarence Stofiel, 44, were last known to be in Portland, Oregon in February.  Stofiel’s truck was found in late February parked about a half-mile down the Mt. Wilson turnoff off of Highway 26 on the Warm Springs Reservation, reported KGW news.

Thomas is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs about 125 pounds and has brown hair and green eyes, and Kaitlyn is described as tall and thin, with long, dark hair and blue eyes.
