Debra Puente, of Linda Vista, Ca was last seen driving away from a bar near Friars and Mission Gorge roads March 28. She had gone out with friends after work. Her Black, 2013 Hyundai, 4 door, yielding California license plate 6XRP212. Was found abandoned on Santa Cruz Avenue near Bacon Street in Ocean Beach, Ca. This is out of character for Debra to not be in touch with her family and friends. She would have not risked losing her job she has had for 15 years by not showing up or calling.

UPDATE:  I have received confirmation that Debra was las seen at the Longhorn in Grantville.  She was not seen in OB.  I have no knowledge if there will be a search in Granville.

UPDATE:  There will be a search for Debi on Saturday at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Per Debi’s family:

“WHERE:  Ocean Beach where Newport Ave meets the beach
WHAT: Passing out fliers, taping them up, talking to people. We will be splitting up into groups. We have a list of places we have not gone yet.
WHEN: Saturday 4/7 11am-2pm
WHAT WE NEED: Tacks for bulletin boards, and packing, scotch, or masking tape for windows. Clip boards if you feel like having something sturdy to keep your fliers together.

Please also bring your drivers license. We will be checking people in for safety reasons ?

Tagging those who’ve mentioned an interest, please don’t feel obligated!! We appreciate all forms of help, especially sharing from social media. SO MANY people have told us they’ve seen or shared the posts on Facebook, or seen my mom on the news. That would not be possible without all of you.

Note: if you are not available tomorrow but still want to help on another day, please also comment here so we can keep track of when people are available. We are so humbled by the hundreds of people who have reached out.”

Original story:   Debra Puente, 50, is missing from San Diego, Calif.  She was last seen on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Longhorn Bar and Grill off of Friars Road and Mission Gorge Road in her black 2013 Hyundai sedan.  The car was found on Santa Cruz Avenue in Ocean Beach on Wednesday.  I am still waiting to hear if she was positively seen in the OB area or not.  She was known to be a regular at several bars in the Ocean Beach area, her daughter, Ashleigh Taranto told KGTV 10 News.  It is possible she could have left the Longhorn and drove to OB, or she could have stopped some place else.  There is no confirmation at this time that Debi drove her vehicle to OB, but it did end up there with her purse locked up inside.

On Help Find Debra Puente’s Facebook page it is stated she is the daughter of a retired police detective.

Debra who has worked for the same company for 14 years, has not shown up for work nor called her job.

Puente is described as a Caucasian female, 5-foot-4, about 115 pounds, and has a large mole on her left cheek under her eye.

Anyone with information is asked to contact San Diego Police at 619-531-2000.
