Larissa Lonehill

Larissa Lonehill, 21, was last seen on Oct. 2, 2016 in Rapid City, South Dakota.  She went missing after having an argument with her sister, Carol Piper at her home.  Larissa left with her boyfriend and a female friend after stated they were going to the Rushmore Mall.  She texted her cousin to tell her she was with two male friends from Pine Ridge on Oct. 3.  She has not been heard from since.

Rapid City Police Department believe Larissa is dead and buried within a 100-mile radius of Rapid City, said Capt. James Johns, head of the department’s Criminal Investigations Division, reports Rapid City Journal.

Carol told the Rapid City Journal that one of men said he had dropped Larissa off at a party.  The other man, she said, denied being with Larissa that day.

“We’ve investigated an enormous number of leads in this case,” says Captain James Johns, commander of the RCPD Criminal Investigations Division told KOTATV News. “Now, we need someone to come forward who has knowledge of her disappearance. Larissa has a two-year-old daughter and a number of family members who are in desperate need of closure about their loved-one.”

There is a $5000 reward for information leading to Larissa’s whereabouts. Anyone with any information about the disappearance of Larissa Lonehill can contact Detective Ryan Gebhard at 394-4134.
