Two children and adult go missing after leaving 7-11 in South Gate FOUND

The South Gate Police stated that the girls have been located in Bell Gardens.  They received a tip from an anonymous caller.

South Gate Police Department has posted a press release for two missing children from South Gate, California:d

South Gate, CA – The #SoGatePD is currently looking for two missing children who were allowed to leave with an adult friend.

On Monday, September 4, 2017 at approximately 4:04am we received a call from the mother of two girls, who informed officers her daughters went walking with her adult roommate to a local convenient store at 11pm and had not returned.

The mother indicated she allowed her two daughters, ages 5 and 6-years-old, to go to 7-11 to get something to eat because they could not sleep.

The mother said after about twenty minutes the adult friend and her daughters had not returned and she became concerned. She and another friend went looking for her daughters. They did not locate them and called police.

The female adult friend is:

Judy Annette Zamora 35 years old, 5’4”, 168 lbs., black hair with gray highlights. She was last seen wearing black tank top shirt, black pants with a black back pack.

Missing children:

#1. Nayellie Avina 6 years old last seen wearing light green tank top multi-colored leggings

#2. Katallina Nicole Avina 5 years old last seen wearing purple shirt with a cat print on front, multi-flowered leggings.
