Christopher Sanders last seen near Monahan’s oilfields in Texas

Christopher Sanders, 40, of Dangerfield, Texas was last seen in Monahan where he was working the oilfield.  He went for a walk on August 13, 2017 and never returned.

“He was seen Eastbound on I-20. Left his vehicle, left his R-V, my nephew tried to call him back and he’d already turned the phone off,” Sandy Sanders told KTLA News.  Sandy also said, “He’s on bipolar meds, he’s also on high blood pressure medication. I know that he was off of it at least a week,”  Sandy says.

The Monahan’s Police Department and the Texas Rangers are working Sanders disappearance.

Angela Sanders, Chris’ wife posted on Facebook:  “I will not stop looking until I find him even if that means selling everything I own to keep looking. I am doing everything I can to find Chris. He is the love of my life, my soul mate and I don’t know what I would do without him. We have a good strong marriage and love each other very very much. We were not fighting when he disappeared. He was very stressed and angry about his job out there because they were shorting him about $1200 a month on his per-dium. He was extremely tired and his body ached from the long hours hauling rock on the rough oil field roads. That’s a lot of stress on a man, now he has been off his medicine for over a week which really scares me. Please continue to pray for Chris. I am praying and trusting God is taking care of him and is going to bring him home safe. Thank you for all prayers and support during this time.”

Christopher was wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, “Twisted X” boots, a black cap with the letters “T C” in red on the front and sunglasses. Christopher has a tanned complexion, and a mustache & goatee / beard. He has multiple tattoos, including one of a monkey on his stomach, the tattoo of an eye on his chest and the tattoo of aliens on his elbow.

If you have any information concerning Christopher’s disappearance; please call the Monahans, Texas Police Department at (432) 943-3254.
