Grandma, mom and three children missing while camping in Mount Hood National Forest FOUND

UPDATE:  Authorities state that the family was located and there was a confusion on the dates.  The family thought they were to be back September 23rd, not October.

Veronica Weathers, 51, and her daughter, Kasey Kent, 26, and three young Kent children, a 7-year-old girl, a 6-year-old boy and a 3-year-old boy have gone missing while camping in the Mount Hood National Forest in mid September.  The family was thought to be camping near the Ripplebrook Store in Estacada.  They are long overdue to return, according to the authorities.

They could be driving a 2000 red Dodge Durango with Oregon plates 1623FYS and a purple 1986 Dodge pickup with a canopy with Oregon plates 449ADM.

Kasey did post on her Facebook page that she would be off the grid till mid October.

I will be staying offline completely for a while. Probably till mid October. Please stay close to Christ and keep me in your prayers, you will all be in mine. God bless!

Anyone who has seen the family or has information that could help deputies find the family is asked to call the sheriff’s office Tip Line at 503-729-4949 or to share the tip online at Clackamas.US.
