Arizona school teacher missing after bailing friend out of jail FOUND

UPDATE 10/21/17 – The Yavapai County Medical Examiner’s Office informed the Flagstaff Police Department that they have positively identified the remains found near Mayer as Cathryn Gorospe.  According to reports, Malzahn gave investigators details and directions that led to the remain’s discovery.


UPDATE 10/15/17 – A females body has been found, that may be Cathryn.  The authorities have not released where it was found and there has been no positive confirmation at this time.


Cathryn Gorospe, 44, has been missing from Flagstaff, Arizona since Friday, October 6, 2017.  Cathryn is a teacher at Arrowhead Elementary and also worked a part-time job at the railway in Williams.

Police stated that Cathryn was last seen at the Coconino County Jail in Flagstaff on Friday, but won’t elaborate, but AZ Central stated she was there to bail out Charlie Malzahn, 27.  Later Malzahn was arrested for using Cathryn’s credit cards.  Malzahn had been booked on charges of theft, prohibited possession of a gun, possession of a gun during the commission of a felony.

She is described as Caucasian, 5 feet 5 inches, and weighing 150 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
