UPDATE 10/20/17 – Caitlyn Pa Chia Xiong’s body was found in the Fox River in Little Chute. The Outagamie County Coroner’s Office identified the body as that of Caitlyn Xiong,
Previous story: Caitlyn Pa Chia Xiong, 20, has been missing from Appleton, Wisconsin sine October 5, 2017. Caitlyn was going through a breakup with her boyfriend at the time of her disappearance. She last was seen by her mother shortly after midnight Oct. 5 at her Appleton home she shares with Caitlyn’s grandmother. She was upset about the breakup but was doing better the mom told Post Cresent news.
The boyfriend involved in the breakup notified police that Xiong was missing late Thursday, Yang said. Police issued a statement Tuesday afternoon asking for the public’s help in finding Xiong.
The Appleton Fire Department and the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department have searched the Fox River from Peabody Park to State 441 on Wednesday, but nothing has been found.
Xiong is about 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 100 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair.

Public Assistance Requested
The Appleton Police Department is seeking public assistance in locating a missing 20 year-old Appleton woman.
Caitlyn Pa Chia Xiong was reported missing by a friend during the late evening hours of October 5, 2017. She has not been seen since the early morning hours of October 5, 2017.
The Appleton Police Department would like to ensure Caitlyn’s welfare by making contact with her. Numerous interviews and various record checks have not resulted in the identification of Caitlyn’s current location or condition. No activity has occurred on her phone or with her bank accounts during this time.
Caitlyn is described as approximately 5’2” tall, weighing approximately 100 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
