Is there a serial killer in New Orleans East?

On Wednesday, November 15, 2017, a forth body was found wrapped in a blanket and “dumped” near I-10 and Michoud Blvd. of New Orleans East in Louisiana, reports WNSU news.  The New Orleans east area is east of the Industrial Canal and north of the Intracoastal Waterway.

In September, October and November there has been more remains found in New Orleans East, that have not been identified.

On November 3, 2017, New Orleans fire personnel responded to a call for a burning vehicle in the 10000 block of Old Gentilly Road. A body was located in the vehicle’s trunk.

On October 23, skeletal remains were found in the woods near the 15200 block of Chef Mentor Highway.  Above the remains was a rope hanging from the tree.

On October 25, 2017, human remains were found in the 3600 block of Ridgeway Drive.

On October 31, the body of Patricia Davis, 63, was found dumped in a ditch.  Workers discovered her nude body lying near eastbound Interstate 10 and Michoud Boulevard about 3:45 p.m.

“Current indications are that the incident that led to her death occurred in Jefferson Parish,” NOPD Spokesman Beau Tidwell told NOLA news.

On September 19 the body of Lisa Gray, 55, was found “wrapped in garbage bags” laying in grass along 14700 Chef Menteur Highway and Old Gentilly Road.   The location is about a block from where she lived and where she was last seen.

Jean Stokes, 76, of the 4900 block of Goode Drive, was last heard from by her family on Oct. 11 at about 10:30 a.m.  Her Toyota Rav 4 was found off of Chef Menteur Highway in New Orleans East.  On October 25, skeletal remains were found in the 15200 block of Chef Menteur Highway, less than two miles from Stokes’ vehicle was found.  The remains have not been positively identified at this writing.

Back at the beginning of the year, on January 29, 2017, remains were found around 12:05 p.m. in a wooded area near Interstate 10 westbound and Michoud Boulevard.

The matter of death in these cases have not been released.  Is it a coincidence that these people have been found in this one area or is someone putting them there?
